communities.

 
In partnership with the Australian Defence Force and supporting our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC), Ventia are currently seeking a Technical Supervisor at Puckapunyal Defence Base

The Technical Supervisor role will include the leadership and supervision of tradespeople to achieve maintenance outcomes for performance, quality, compliance, and safety.  
 
This is a full-time, permanent role with an attractive salary of 120k inclusive of super.

Responsibilities include:
•    Supervision of trades personnel and the work being undertaken meets the requirements. 
•    Liaising with relevant stakeholders and contractors to allocate resources effectively.
•    Leading scheduled inspections.
•    Incident investigation and reporting.
•    Establish and maintain effective communication with the management team to develop and maintain effective working procedures.
•    Ensure compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety programs.
•    Administrative work including induction for new employees, entering training records, approving leave and maintaining attendance records.
•    Lead and provide development and training support to employees. This includes identifying training gaps and reporting to the Site Manager.
 
About You:
•    Mechanical trade background and relevant experience.
•    Demonstrated experience in leadership and supervisory roles.
•    MILIS/SAP experience is advantageous.
•    Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to coach & lead work teams.
•    You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
