Our Fuels & Energy East business is seeking interest from Senior Project Engineers to join our Decommissioning team (Oil & Gas, offshore scope) in Melbourne VIC.  

Supported by the leadership & delivery team, you will support the Planning and Scheduling team & Engineering team by managing site works at each of the offshore platforms from commencement through to execution. 

  

About You 

You will draw on your diverse skills and previous experience to create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have: 

  • Communicate with the UGL execution team to ensure project delivery outcomes are met & resources are managed 
  • Coordinate subcontractors for the delivery of outsourced tasks to ensure cohesive project outcomes 
  • Implement and manage a project execution plan and lead execution strategies 
  • Champion continuous improvement in all areas and across the wider business 
  • Ensure that project planning incorporates HSE requirements for safe execution of work 
  • Effectively identify, manage and report on project risks 
  • Evaluate and understand technologies around relevant disciplines (piping, structural, coating, access) in order to drive innovation across UGL 
  • Customer focus; meeting internal and external requirements 
  • Team player, respecting our diverse culture 

About the Role 

  • The role will work closely with the projects execution teams in Sale being the Construction Manager/Coordinators who will have direct responsibility of the project execution 
  • Comply to Health and Safety and Environment legislation following UGL and Client Procedures and innovations
