WesTrac is looking to grow our talented team of experienced Plant Mechanic’s in Sydney!

About the role

Whether you are seeking a new challenge or wanting to relocate, we are looking for several talented and qualified Field Service Plant Mechanic’s to join our growing team in Sydney.
You will bring a high level of technical skills and expertise to the role, along with a strong drive and motivation to succeed.
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor and working alongside other technician’s, you will be supporting our customers in NSW, performing onsite maintenance and repairs on a range of Caterpillar machinery.

Skills & Experience 

  • Plant Mechanic qualification or equivalent- Heavy Diesel / Auto Electrician will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience working with Caterpillar equipment is essential
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • A high level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills, with a commitment to meeting customer requirements

The successful applicant’s will be motivated, and ideally have a minimum of 3 years post trade experience. Experience with CAT equipment is essential in this role.

Roster and Remmuneration

  • Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm 
  • Starting rates from $50.84 and OT rates from $76.26
