About the role
Ventia has a long-standing partnership with Qenos, and we are seeking experienced & qualified Mechanical Fitters to join a Program of casual work at their Altona Facility.
The primary purpose of this role is to is to work as part of a maintenance team to contribute to all field service work conducted in designated areas of responsibility. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the successful applicant will work collaboratively within an effective team whilst following all safety procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement
- $56.33 per hour plus 25% casual loading
- LAHA & Accommodation is NOT provided for this role
- Estimated starting dates are 16th & 30th September
- Estimated Roster will be Monday – Saturday, 9.5 hour days
About you
The successful candidate will have a relevant trade or engineering qualification accompanied with Mechanical fitting experience, along with:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- Working at Heights valid within 2 years (Mandatory)
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces valid within 2 years (Mandatory)
- High Risk License
- Ability to pass a medical
- Current Driver’s License
- Your own accommodation
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Flange Management
- Previous shutdown experience
- Elevated Work Platform
- Current First Aid certificate
