We are seeking an exceptional Principal Transmission Lead / Engineering Manager to represent our company as a subject matter expert in the field of High Voltage (HV) Transmission Engineering.

In this key role, you will:

  • Leverage your deep expertise across all aspects of HV transmission including cables, overhead lines, and substations
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and serve as the frontline technical advisor to our clients and stakeholders
  • Manage complex technical challenges, guiding teams through unclear scopes to develop robust solutions
  • Provide technical direction, manage design projects, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance with quality systems
  • Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to grow Jacobs’ transmission engineering capabilities

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Extensive experience in transmission engineering design, construction, and consulting
  • Proven ability to liaise directly with clients in a confident manner
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop technical teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to interface across internal and external stakeholders
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, standards, and best practices
