Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We have a great opportunity to join our Operations Maintenance team in a new Maintenance Planner / Scheduler role. This role, based in our Chatswood Head Office and travelling to Sydney Water sites, offers an opportunity to consolidate your skills within a Tier 1 company as a Subject Matter Expert on work-flow processes and work order requirements. The person in this role will be a key member of the Centralised Services Team and is accountable for the triage process for all workorders to ensure that scope, allocation and budget are correct. You will work closely with members of the Maintenance Delivery Team and Sydney Water stakeholders on procurement optimisation and equipment / materials planning. Liaising with and technically supporting the Site Supervisors at the various Sydney Water Sites in our region, you will help to maximise productivity through the monitoring of work teams in the field, ensuring effective allocation and planning. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevance experience in a related scheduling or maintenance/construction project engineering role
  • Mechanical or Electrical trade background
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
